CALENDAR LIST WALLPAPER LEFT WALLPAPER RIGHT
As they have more often than not, the Checkers are opening the season on the road - visiting Springfield on Oct. 11 and Providence the following afternoon. Fans won’t have to wait long to see their team, though, as they return to the Queen City for a pair of Opening Weekend matchups against Iowa on Oct. 17 and 18.

NEW ADDITIONS

For the first time since the 2016-17 campaign, the Checkers will face the Grand Rapids Griffins - in Michigan on Nov. 21 and 22 and then at the Coliseum on Feb. 6 and 7. Charlotte, which shared a division with Grand Rapids in the past, is 18-15-2-1 all time against the Griffins.

The other Western Conference opponent making an appearance on Charlotte’s schedule is Iowa. The Wild and Checkers squared off four times last season - their first meetings since 2016-17 - and Charlotte earned a sweep, outscoring Iowa 16-5 along the way.

Additionally, the Syracuse Crunch return to the fold after a two-year absence - replacing the Utica Comets on Charlotte’s schedule this season.

SATURDAY EVENING'S ALRIGHT

There will be plenty of chances to spend your Saturdays at the Coliseum this season - a record amount, actually. The Checkers have 15 Saturday home games on the slate, up one from last season and more than any other season in franchise history.

HOLIDAY SZN

Come spend the holidays at the Biscuit this season! You can work off your feast by cheering on the boys on Black Friday, bring your date for a memorable Valentine’s Day or rock some green on St. Patrick’s Day.
