After enjoying a first-round bye, the Checkers are set to begin their playoff run with a second-round matchup against the Providence Bruins. The series begins in Providence for Games 1 and 2 starting Friday, and then the Checkers will have home ice advantage by hosting Games 3, 4 and 5.
